Paint & Infuse your own sacred drum with intention

Each drum begins in its natural state, skin and wood, untouched by artistic intervention, open to receiving symbol, color, intention and meaning.

Your symbol begins with your intention. In a quiet moment at the start of the workshop, you name what you want your drum to carry. From there, your main image and its adornments take shape on paper, sketched by your own hand with guidance at every step.

Every line begins with your own hand. Once your sketch is complete, it is carefully refined into clean line art and transferred onto the skin of your drum, so you can paint with confidence, even if you have never painted before.

The sessions take place in a calm, carefully prepared environment, with soft music and personal support throughout each stage. Natural drying times are respected, and every participant works at their own pace. There is no rush. The stillness of the space moves into the hand, from the hand into the line, and from the line into the drum.

HOW THE THREE SUNDAYS UNFOLD

• Sunday, October 11 · Intention & Design

  Set your intention and sketch your main image and adornments on a full-size template. Choose your color palette, practice with acrylic markers, and begin decorating the wooden frame of your drum.

  
  

• Sunday, October 18 · Painting

  Your design arrives transferred onto the drum, ready to paint. Bring it to life with brushes and acrylic markers, filling color and adding adornments.

  
  

• Sunday, October 25 · Details & Finish

  Complete the final details and touch-ups, and apply the protective matte finish. Take your drum home, ready to play the next day.

You bring your intention and your hands. Everything else is prepared for you: your 16" natural skin drum, full-size design templates, line refinement and transfer of your design, professional-quality acrylic paints and brushes, Posca acrylic paint markers in multiple sizes and colors, protective matte varnish, and everything needed to complete your work. Snacks and beverages are provided during the sessions.

Each participant leaves with a drum created by their own hands, carrying their symbol, intention and sound. A personal instrument, unique and impossible to duplicate.

Every participant is also warmly invited to join our upcoming Drum Circles, where your drum can meet the circle and sound in community.
